1) Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (WTRO6638) affecting the Stoke Ferry Road from 530 metres west of its junction with C45 Eastmoor Road for 120 metres westwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Barton Bendish to facilitate installation of a new water main, the Road will be temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction for the duration of the works/period the restriction is necessary which is anticipated to be from 20th April to 7th August 2026, but may continue to be restricted until the 19th October 2027 where the restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

2) Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (WTRO6682) affecting the Barton Bendish FP8 from its junction with C45 Stoke Ferry Road for 1330 metres northwards (the “Footpath”) in the Parish of Barton Bendish to facilitate installation of an open cut water main. The Footpath will be temporarily closed/restricted for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be on the 22nd April 2026, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 3rd June 2026 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

3) Barton Bendish (WTRO6791) Notice. In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a burst water main the use by vehicles (of any class) of the U21248 Murgots Lane from 680 metres east of its junction with C45 Eastmoor Road for 50 metres eastwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Barton Bendish will be temporarily prohibited/restricted.
Alternative route is via: Murgots Lane, Gooderstone Road, Swaffham Road, Eastmoor Road, Oxborough Road (Barton Bendish, Beachamwell, Oxborough).
